Martha (Wife of Joe Esposito) Passed Away Today

Life is precious. I know this and my family lives every day like it could be the last one because no one knows. Today, my special “Elvis” friend, Diamond Joe Esposito’s wife, Martha, passed away early this morning after a long battle with cancer.

Just four days ago my Mama and I received this: “Martha, who has been facing cancer for several years, is bedridden in a hospital bed at home. She started getting weaker a few weeks ago and was having a lot of trouble eating. She has had significant weight loss over the past month, getting down to less than 80 pounds at this point. She is now on morphine to control her pain. Her friends are taking shifts spending the night on the couch next to her. Please keep her in your prayers, as she is declining by the day.” So we knew it was coming, but still it is so sad because she was really the sunshine in Joe’s life. You can see that in this picture. Family really is the most important thing in the world.

Please send your prayers to my friend Joe and his family. TCB

Joe, I have never met you but I’m very familiar with you because of your friendship with elvis. You have always seemed like a wonderful person. I am so sorry about your wife. My mom just passed away because of cancer so I know it is very difficult. You are in my prayers. Bo
